Challenging students to dream big

We help low-income, first-generation college students realize their academic potential through innovative curricula that open their minds to the promise of college, as well as through scholarship programs that help them pay for it.

Expanding access to college nationwide through our curricula

We partnered with highly regarded industry experts to tackle the challenge of expanding college access and success to low-income, first-generation college students. We created 3 free curriculum guides that help students and their families see the economic, social and cultural power going to college can create in their lives.

  • Believing the College Dream introduces middle school students to the idea of going to college.
  • Realizing the College Dream helps high school students prepare academically and create a solid plan for college.
  • PERSIST helps students succeed in their college careers.

We don’t just hand out guides. We also provide free training and workshops for educators across the country on how to implement the curricula.

ECMC Scholars Program

We’ve pledged more than $7 million to fund ECMC Scholars Programs in Virginia and Oregon. The Scholars Program identifies promising college candidates early in their high school careers and individually challenges them to excel academically.

Successful scholars earn $4,000 for their first year of college and are eligible for an additional $2,000 their second year.
