FINANCIAL AID STEPS - AN OVERVIEW

STEP 1: Have you applied for an electronic signature Pin Number?

YES: Proceed to STEP 2

NO: You will need to apply for a pin number in order to sign your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) electronically. If you are a dependent student, your parent must also apply for a pin number.

STEP 2: Have you submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid?

YES: Proceed to STEP 3

NO: This application is hosted on the U.S. Department of Education FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) web site. By completing this application, we will be able to determine your eligibility for all types of financial assistance.

College Code = 003702  (You will enter this code during the application process to indicate you are attending Averett University.)

STEP 3: Stafford Loan Borrowers

Stafford loan borrowers must select a lender, complete on-line entrance counseling and electronically sign a Stafford Master Promissory Note (MPN). Please read and select the link below that applies to your enrollment situation.

I am/will be enrolled in the Graduate Professional Studies(GPS)

This application is hosted on the Mapping-Your-Future and Education Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) web sites. When you complete these steps, we will be able to process the student loans for which you are eligible.
