Parents who have previously borrowed a PLUS loan through UVA-Wise and are choosing the same lender are required to:

• Mail a PLUS Loan Amount Request Form to the UVA-Wise Office of Financial Aid.

Parents who have previously borrowed a PLUS loan through UVA-Wise and are choosing a different lender are also required to complete a new Master Promissory Note (MPN).

Important: Choose this option only if you have previously borrowed through the College and are choosing a different lender.

Parents will be charged a three percent loan origination fee which will slightly decrease the actual amount of the loan proceeds.
