Jason Puryear is the director of The College Place – Alexandria. He has 12 years of experience guiding students and families through the college admission, financial aid and enrollment process. In his work with The College Place, Jason enjoys helping to demystify the college admission process, showing students and families how to pay for postsecondary education while focusing on empowering students to find their best fit institution. As a first-generation college graduate, Jason holds a special place in his heart for serving first-generation, Pell-eligible and underserved students as they seek to access higher education. He holds a BA and M.Ed. from the University of Virginia.
