TCP-Alexandria, launched in 2003, is located in Alexandria, Virginia.
Jason Puryear is the director of The College Place–Alexandria. In his work at The College Place, Jason helps demystify the college admissions process, finds ways to help students and families pay for postsecondary education and helps students find their best institution fit. As a college access professional, Jason has provided support to students and families throughout the college admission, financial aid and enrollment process for more than 13 years. As a first-generation college graduate, he is passionate about serving first-generation, Pell-eligible and underserved students as they seek to access postsecondary educational opportunities. Jason holds a BA and MEd from the University of Virginia.
