TCP-Richmond, launched in 2007, is located in Richmond, Virginia.
Tomika L. Brown is the director of The College Place-Richmond, where she partners with state agencies, secondary schools and community-based organizations throughout Virginia to prepare students for postsecondary success. With nearly 20 years of experience leading postsecondary education access, financial aid and workforce development initiatives in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., her life’s work is rooted in increasing access for marginalized communities to capital needed to pursue their dreams of success and stability. She holds a BA from the University of Virginia and graduate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Pennsylvania.
